Jean BruhnJean Bruhn, 83 of Sioux Falls, SD passed away peacefully on Friday, April 14, 2017 at her home.Jean Bruhn, daughter of Clarence and Gertrude (Kane) Schneider, was born on May 12, 1933 in Mitchell, SD. She grew up in Salem, SD receiving her education at St Mary's High School. Jean was united in marriage with Gerald Bruhn on November 4, 1955, in Sioux Falls, SD. Jean was employed at Valley National Bank in Sioux Falls for forty years until retiring in 1997.Jean kept the Lord close to her heart and was a faithful member of Christ the King Catholic Church. Jean was extremely committed to supporting O'Gorman High School in all of their curriculum events in which all of her children graduated from. She absolutely loved watching sporting activities with all of her children and grandchildren. Additionally, she enjoyed spending time vacationing in Northern Minnesota each year with her entire family. She truly cherished time spent with her husband, children, grandchildren and her siblings.Grateful for having shared her life are her children Kristi Gamache, West Bend, WI, Sheri Bruns, Plymouth, MN, Mike Bruhn and his wife Kristin, Minnetonka, MN, Susan Levasseur and her husband Steve, Andover, MN, Pat Bruhn and his wife Barbara, Sioux Falls, SD, Shelly Bengston, Leaque City, TX, David Bruhn and his wife Michelle, Sioux Falls, SD; brother Gerald Schneider, West Palm Beach, FL, Lynn Osterburg, Sioux Falls, SD, Mary Canfield, Sioux Falls, SD. 9 grandchildren, Tony Gamache, his wife Stephanie, and their son Grady, Zach Gamache, Elizabeth Gamache, Colin Bruns and his wife Janae, Lindsay Bruns, Lilly Bruhn, Nick Bruhn, Bergen Bruhn, Cole Bruhn; and many other relatives and friends.Jean was preceded in death by her husband Gerald Bruhn, parents Clarence and Gertrude, sister Joyce VanRobeys, brother in law Vern VanRobeys; and son-in-laws Greg Gamache and Mike Bruns.Visitation with the family present will be from 2 to 3:30 pm with a prayer service and rosary beginning at 3:30 pm on Sunday, April 23, 2017, at Miller Southside Chapel, 7400 S. Minnesota Ave. A Funeral Mass will be held at 11 am on Monday, April 24, 2017, at Christ the King Catholic Church with burial at St. Michael Cemetery. www.millerfh.com
