Zimdars, JasonJason Zimdars (JZ), 43, passed away peacefully in his sleep into the loving arms of God on Friday, September 15, 2017 in Montrose, Colorado. Jason lived life to the fullest and experienced a life that most people only dream of doing. He hunted the mountains of Montana, Wyoming and Colorado. Jason rafted the Colorado River with great friends and camped along beautiful mountain streams. He skied the awesome mountains at Vail, Beaver Creek, Telluride and Crested Butte. Jason was a true outdoors man that hunted, fished, rafted, skied and camped at too many places to mention. Jason was born on June 27, 1974 to John and Betty (Kitzman) Zimdars. He graduated from Bay Port High School and attended Fox Valley Technical College. Jason is survived by the love of his life and wife, Kate Mohler Zimdars, Montrose, Colorado; his parents John and Betty Zimdars, Townsend; and brother Lance (Carrie) Zimdars, Green Bay and their children Jayden and Landen. He is further survived by his mother-in-law Penny Mohler, Lexington, Virginia and Grandmother Erma Talley, Mountain, WI along with special aunt and uncle Juli and John Guyette, Green Bay, WI. He is also survived by his loving dogs, Sky and Ruby. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Albert and Rose Kitzman; Eleanor and Harry Zimdars and Floyd Talley. Visitation will be held on Friday, September 22nd at St. John Lutheran Church, Townsend, WI from 9:00 to 12:00. Services will be held at 12:00 at St. John Lutheran Church, Townsend with Pastor Stephen Mueller officiating. Interment will be at Forest Hill Cemetery, Townsend.
