Janet G. SchwartzfisherLansingAge 82, left this world on Saturday, March 25, 2017.  Janet was born on February 13, 1935 in Bay City, MI, the daughter of Frank and Gertrude (Bloch) Domagalski.  Janet attended schools in the Lansing area, graduating from Eastern High School in 1953.  On May 23, 1959, she married Robert Schwartzfisher at St. Casimir Church.  They have lived in Lansing all their married life.  Janet enjoyed all kinds of music, singing her way through school in choirs and later in civic groups.  She also loved flowers and gardening, following her Detroit Tigers, but most important in her life was her children and grandchildren. Janet was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Eleanor and most recently, her beloved husband, Robert.  Surviving are her sons, Michael, Gary and Richard; daughters, Jo, Karen (Rob) Grost and Lisa; grandchildren, Catrina, Jonathan, Sam, Rachel, Sarah, Kelly, Lauren, Marcus, Joseph and Morgan; great grandchildren, Landon, Braedin and Savannah.The Funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday, March 29, 2017, 10:30 a.m., at St. Gerard Church will Rev. Fr. John Klein as celebrant.  Entombment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery Mausoleum.  The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. at the Palmer, Bush and Jensen Family Funeral Homes, Delta Chapel and Wednesday from 9:30 a.m. until time of the service at the church.  For those wishing, memorial contributions may be made to Riverwalk Theater in memory of Janet.  Friends may sign the online guestbook at www.palmerbush.com.
