Janet Ruth LanningOct. 27, 1957 - Dec. 07, 2016MISHAWAKA - Janet Ruth Lanning, 59, passed away at home on Wednesday, December 7. Janet was born on October 27, 1957 in St. Petersburg, FL to Robert Frank and Jan Madline (Hennard) Blair. She was preceded in death by her parents and a son, Shawn Lee Lanning. Surviving are her daughter, Stacie Lanning of South Bend; granddaughter, Isabella Newcomer of South Bend; siblings, Sherry Hill and Beverly Kahlenbeck both of Granger, Debbie (Steve) Madou of Osceola, Frank Blair of Osceola, Kathy Manuel of Mishawaka, Bob Blair of Jensen Beach, FL. Also surviving is the father of her two children, Stacie and Shawn, William Mark Lanning. Janet was a certified medical assistant at the South Bend Clinic. She was an easy going person with a good heart; she loved being outside especially while she was fishing. A Memorial service will be on Wednesday, December 14 at 6 p.m., with visitation one hour prior, in Hahn Funeral Home, 505 W. 8th Street, Mishawaka.
