A Bardstown resident, Mrs. Janet Maurice Robinson, 71, passed away Monday, Dec. 9, 2013 at Flaget Memorial Hospital. She was the former Janet Clark born on June 25, 1942, in New Hope. She was a former employee of Lilly-Tulip and My Old KY Home State Park and a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.She is preceded in death by her parents, Maurice and Mary Emma Owens Clark.She is survived by her two daughters, Tammy (Michael) Hicks, of Bardstown and Vicki (Bert) Newton of, Cox's Creek; five grandchildren, Cliff (Autumn) Hicks, Tana Newton, Andy Hicks, Kimberly (Michael) Conway and Dustin Newton. She is also survived by a friend of the family Roger Smith; two great-grandchildren Angel Smith, Junior Conway and her special dog "Pretty."A mass of Christian burial will be Wednesday, Dec. 11, 2013, at 1 pm at Basilica of St. Joseph Proto-Cathedral with burial in St. Vincent DePaul Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 2-8 p.m. and after 9 a.m. on Wednesday at Houghlin-Greenwell Funeral Home who is in charge of arrangements.
