Janet was born on November 13, 1941 in South Bend, IN., to the late Raymond and Louise (Dunivant) Stickler. Janet is survived by her children, Lisa Lockman of South Bend, Scott (Pamela) Clifford of Niles, MI, Kelly (Sandra) Clifford of Flint, MI, Brandy Saffold and her companion Stan Vanpelt, Kasey Saffold of Mishawaka. Janet is preceded in death by her husband Jerry Saffold, who passed away February 27, 2010, her son Patrick Lockman, daughter Wendy Lockman, grandson, Joshua Lockman and her brother Robin Stickler. Janet was a loving and caring grandmother to 7 grandchildren, Brendan Clifford, Aaron (Jamie) Clifford, Danielle (Cal) Flenar, Colton Daus, Samantha Lockman, Amber Lunsford, Christopher Lunsford, 6 great grandchildren, Sidnee, Stanley, Joshua, Achilles, Samuel and Chloe. Janet is also survived by her sister-in-law Marilyn Stickler of South Bend along with Janet's special friends, Roberta Smedley, Liz Ullery, Betsy Long and family, Craig Lynn and family, Timmy and Wilma. Janet enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She loved animals, playing bingo and being on the computer. The family will receive friends on Friday, November18, 2016, from 11:00am until 2:00pm and 4:00pm until 6:00pm with the service at 6:00pm at the Bubb Funeral Chapel 3910 N. Main St. Mishawaka. The family is honoring Janet's wishes to be cremated. Memorial contributions can be made to Bubb Funeral Chapel to defray the funeral expense.
