HockDecember 6, 1933 - October 3, 2017ShippensburgJanet Marie Hock, 83, departed this life on Tuesday, October 3, 2017, at her home.She was born on December 6, 1933, in Orrstown, the daughter of the late Robert Ellis and Dorothy Hock Stache.Janet retired from the Franklin Clothing Company, where she worked as a seamstress. She was a long-time member of the Shippensburg First Church of God and enjoyed attending with her friends, especially her best friend Bessie. Janet was a member of the Shippensburg A.A.R.P. #2525 and helped with the Shippensburg Meals On Wheels. In her leisure time, Janet enjoyed sewing, tending to the flower beds around her house, attending her grandchildren's sporting events, and spending time with her cat, Nittany, her sons, and her daughter-in-law's extended Italian family.She is survived by her sons, Robert K. Hock of Edna, TX and Bryan E. Hock and wife, Clorinda Leone-Hock of Harrisburg; and two grandchildren, Luigi and Isabella Leone, also of Harrisburg. In addition to her parents, Janet was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth, who died on July 25, 2007.Her funeral service will be held at 11 AM, on Saturday, October 7, 2017, at the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc., Shippensburg. Pastor Jim Rogers and Pastor Brad Mowery will officiate. Interment will follow in the Spring Hill Cemetery.
