Christian, Janet C.Janet C. (Rathbun) Christian, age 76 of Mountain, passed away on Wednesday, April 19, 2017. Janet was born on June 16, 1940 to the late Robert and Catharine (Kniep) Rathbun in Milwaukee. Janet married Jack Christian on November 16, 1963 in Milwaukee. For 10 years, Janet worked as a CNA in Milwaukee, before relocating to Mountain and working at Woodland Village Nursing Home in Suring for 5 years. She loved watching the Green Bay Packers and the Milwaukee Brewers, as well as traveling and spending time with family.Janet is survived by her five children, Jerry (Hazel), John (Denise), Jean (Noel), Joe (Carrie) and James (Patti); 2 sisters, Kathy and Barbara; 15 grandchildren, Ashley (Aaron), Isabella, Alden, Mathew, Eric, Masin (Nakita), Jason, Jo Marie, Aaron, Joshua, Angela, Robert, Brady, Jackson and Vivian; 7 great-grandchildren, Allison, Richard, Eijah, Aliana, Alexis, Quorra, Quinn. She is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.She was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Jack; a grandson, Joshua; a granddaughter, Heather; a sister, Ann.Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 25, 2017 at Gruetzmacher Funeral Home in Suring from 2 pm until the memorial service at 5 pm with Sister Marla Clercx officiating.
