Janellen Cash, 67, a resident of Guadalupita, passed away on Sunday, Sept. 30, 2012, at her residence.She was born on Dec. 6, 1944, in Denver, Colo., to Corydon Curtis Cook and Martha Jane Blackman Cook.She married her husband, Gerald L. Cash, Dec. 20, 1964, in Colorado Springs, Colo. She was an art teacher in the CotoPaxy, Colo., public schools. She loved crafts and would make prayer shawls and started a prayer shawl ministry; was a multi-talented artist, and had more than 20 foster children.A lifelong Episcopalian, and member of the St. Paul's Peace Episcopal/Lutheran Church. She was preceded in death by her parents: Corydon Curtis Cook and Martha Jane Cook.She is survived by her husband: Gerald L. Cash of the family home; daughters: Carrie Jane Cash (Hough) and husband William from Salida, Colo., Anpo Christa Cash from Taos; brother: Curtis B. Cook and wife Patricia from Del Norte, Colo.; sister-in-law: Joyce Negley and husband Wayne, from Ruidoso; brother-in-laws: Alvis E. Cash and Harold P. Cash and wife Lisa both from Las Cruces; six grandchildren and three great- grandchildren.Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday at St. Paul's Peace Church in Las Vegas with the Rev. Patricia Halverson officiating.
