Jane was born on December 7, 1935 in Lehighton, PA and was the daughter of Wilbur George Warner and Laura Kutz Warner. She was a 1953 graduate of Lehighton High School. Jane attended The Pennsylvania State University where she met her husband, Jack, on a blind date. She enjoyed cooking and previously operated a Hors d'oeuvre business, was a stand operator at the Lebanon Farmers Market and was a co-owner/operator of the Good Taste Café & Bistro in Lebanon.Jane was devoted to volunteerism and an advocate for our local community hospital. At the Good Samaritan Hospital, she served as the President of the Women's Auxiliary from 1981 to 1983 and was a member of the Street Fair committee, where she served as General Chairperson in 1976 and 1977. Jane served on the Board of Trustees of the hospital from 1981 to 2015, was a member of the Executive Committee and chaired the Public Relations Committee. She previously served on the Board and was President of the Lebanon Visiting Nurse Association.Jane was an active member of the St. Andrews Presbyterian Church. She served on the three church boards as a Trustee including as President, the Session as a ruling Elder and as a Deacon. She was instrumental in forming the Mourning Has Broken Grief Support Group, and served on the Cookbook, Building Expansion and Sanctuary Renovation Committees.She was a member of the Lebanon Country Club where she served on various committees, and was previously active with the Myerstown Junior Woman's Club. Jane was an avid Bridge player, and had other interests including cooking, entertaining with friends and family, gardening, reading, needle-point, water aerobics, trivia and Penn State Football. Jane loved vacationing in Cancun, Mexico and Ocean City, NJ, and enjoyed relaxing by the pool. Mostly, she will be remembered for her many friendships and her devotion to her family.Surviving are her son, Stuart Juppenlatz and wife, Veronica; grandchildren, Eric Lundberg, Kate Lundberg, Laura Juppenlatz and William Juppenlatz; sister, Jacqueline Hunsicker and husband, Edward; sons-in-law, Art Panfile and Paul Lundberg; as well as many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Jane was preceded in death by her husband, John "Jack" Juppenlatz, Jr.; son, David Juppenlatz; and daughter, Claire Lundberg. A memorial service is scheduled for 11 a.m. on October 13 at St. Andrews Presbyterian Church, 600 S. 12th St, Lebanon. Friends will be received at the church from 9:30 until 11 a.m. There will be a reception after the service in Snyder Hall. Interment will be at the convenience of the family.
