Jane PittmanADAIR - Jane Ellen Rutledge Pittman, 66, of Adair passed away at 6 a.m. Tuesday, November 22, 2016, at her residence, surrounded by her family. She was born on October 19, 1950, in Macomb to Robert and Patricia Hammond Rutledge. She married A. John Pittman Jr. on June 12, 1976, in Adair. He passed away on January 30, 2013.Surviving are her daughter, Megan Pittman of the Caribbean; two sons, Zachary Pittman of Salt Lake City, Utah, and Skyler Pittman of Virginia Beach, Virginia; her parents, Robert and Patricia Rutledge of Adair; sister, Nancy (Roy Evans) Rutledge of Macomb; two brothers, Craig (Margo) Rutledge of Adair and Kenny (Kathryn) Rutledge of Adair; and several nieces and nephews.Jane lived all of her life in the Adair area. She worked as an Art teacher with the Macomb School District for 37 years before her retirement.She enjoyed riding the Harley Davidson motorcycle with her husband.She also enjoyed gardening, long lunches with great friends and traveling with her kids and family.Cremation rites have been accorded. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, November 26, 2016, at the First Christian Church in Macomb. The Reverend Kelly Ingersoll and Pastor Maryanne Pittman will officiate. Private burial will be held at Pennington Point Cemetery.
