Jane A. Beeler-Dubbs 01/06/1932 - 10/29/2016 Jane A. Beeler-Dubbs passed away on Saturday, October 29, 2016, at the age of 84. Jane was born on January 6, 1932, in Noordwijkerhout, Holland. She was the third child out of seven children born to Simon "Sam" and Maria Verdegaal. Jane grew up in Holland during WWII. In 1949, she boarded a freighter ship with her mother and six siblings to make their way to the United States to be united with their father. The family arrived in Baltimore, MD, and made their way to Stockton, CA, by train. Jane married Robert Beeler in 1952 and had three children. Jane and her husband owned Yosemite Bakery in Modesto for seven years. She later became a nurse and worked at Doctors Medical Center for 25 years. In 1986, Jane married Marcus Dubbs; they were married for 27 years. Jane was strong in her faith and active in her church. She was a loving mother and a wonderful grandmother. She will be missed by many and will be forever in our hearts. Jane leaves behind her children; Robert Beeler (Shari) of Madera, Patricia Stocks (Laurence) of Ripon, Kenneth Beeler (Karen) of Sacramento and 6 step children, 11 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Jane also leaves behind her siblings; Alida Van Ryn, Pete Verdegaal, JoAnn Smallwood, Ann Anderson and Willie Hockenberry. Jane is preceded in death by her brother, Paul Verdegaal and her grandson, Nicholas Carter. A rosary is scheduled for 9:30am with a 10:00am mass following on Monday, November 7, 2016 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church 19399 E. Hwy 120, Ripon, CA, 95366.
