LOGAN - James Ralph Greaves, 59, passed away Jan. 26, 2010, from complication of a stroke. He was born on Nov. 16, 1951, in Logan, Utah, the third child of Leo and Verba Larsen Greaves. He married Pam Hill and they were later divorced. He then married Teresa Norris, and they were also later divorced. Jim had a passion for music and played percussion as a member of a band made up of his high school friends. He was also very artistic, an excellent painter and chef. Jim owned and operated the Expressway and Grumpy's Restaurants in Bountiful, Utah. However, his favorite employment was head chef for the "Toli Mohr," a ship which sailed among the Hawaiian Islands. He is survived by his sister Vicky (Frank) Dickson, of Logan; and his brother Robert Leo (Kay) Greaves, of Layton; a daugther Tessa (Aaron) Rasmussen, and granddaughter Everleigh, of Salt Lake City. Funeral services will be held Saturday, Jan. 29, 2011, at noon in the Lundstrom Park LDS Chapel, 1260 N. 1600 East in Logan, Utah. A gathering will take place from 11 to 11:45 a.m. at the church. Interment will be in the Logan City Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Webb Funeral Home in Preston. Memories and condolences may be shared with the family at www.webbmortuary.com.
