James (Jim) Norris Williamson, Sr. (88) passed away at Advent Square in Boca Raton, Florida on December 19, 2017. He was born September 30, 1929, in Detroit, Michigan.
Jim graduated from Rutgers University in 1951 and was a Research Chemist and Sr. Principal Environmentalist for New Jersey State. He resided in Marlton, NJ for 41 years, and in 1999, he moved to South Florida.
Jim is survived by his beloved wife of 67 years, Beatrice Dolores Williamson (nee Reed); his children: James Williamson, Jr. (Marilyn), Diane Dezeeuw (deceased), Leslee Jacobs (Frank); grandchildren: James Williamson, III, Melissa Dezeeuw, Charles Williamson, Rebekah Chillemi, Lara Williamson, Frank Jacobs, IV, Naomi Thibodeaux; great-grandchildren: Andrew and Madison Williamson, Luke and Eva Chillemi, Corina and Frank Jacobs, V.
Jim is predecesed by his parents: Charles Albert Williamson and Dorothy Norris Williamson (deceased); sister, Alberta Ann Ware.
