James Macklin, 97, passed on January 23, 2021. James was born to James Macklin and Betty Ann Macklin in Pelahatchie, Mississippi on January 21, 1924.

James married Annie Pearl Macklin in 1945 and they lived together in Las Vegas, Nevada. Together they raised 6 children Fredrick Macklin (Shirley Macklin), James Macklin (Rebecca Macklin), Thelma Lee (Charless Lee ), Patrick Macklin, Betty Dixon (Bill dixon), Frankie Ray Macklin (Linda Macklin). James is also survived by 9 grandchildren.

James graduated from Pelahatchie Attendance Center .

James worked at UMC hospital and was passionate about affecting the most positive change in people.
