Buch, James "Jim" L.James "Jim" L. Buch, 79, of Fond du Lac, died peacefully at his home on Friday, July 14, 2017, surrounded by family and friends.He was born on March 3, 1938, in Fond du Lac, the son of Louis and Rose Sharbuno Buch. Jim served his country in the Navy Seabees from 1958-62. He was stationed in Scotland and Bermuda. Jim was a master craftsman at woodworking and metal working. He loved sailing and boats his entire life. Jim built and restored many boats and introduced many people to the joys of sailing. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Gale Simonen of Fond du Lac; two children: Roxane (Mark) Harrison and their son, Zack, of Garmisch, Germany and Eric (Jenny) Buch and their children, Elly & Ethan of Annapolis, Maryland; his siblings: Patti (Norm) Van Huff Abraham, Louise Capella and Dick (Barb) Buch, other relatives and friends.He was preceded in death by his parents. Cremation has taken place.
