Letter, James J. "Jim"James J. "Jim" Letter, 85, Green Bay, passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 29, 2017 with family by his side. He was born on December 22, 1931, the youngest child of the late William and Anna (Gomm) Letter.On October 16, 1954, Jim married the love of his life, Bernice "Bea" Huss at St. Nicholas Catholic Church in Freedom.He is survived by his wife, Bernice; daughters: Debbie and Leon Polzin, Cecil; Dorothy and Roger DeGuelle, Green Bay; Diane and Kevin VanLannen, Seymour; Carol and Craig Paap, Gillett; Rita and Don Skalecki, Pulaski; Doris and Stephen Jarosz Jr., Howard; a son-in-law, Gary Lasecki, Lena; 21 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren with three more on the way.Jim was preceded in death by his daughter, Ruth Lasecki; grandson, Steven Lasecki; brothers, Gerald, Henry and Cyril; and sisters, Margaret, Katherine, Rose, Bernice, Joyce, and Gladys.In accordance with James' wishes, a private service will be held at St. Agnes Catholic Church.
