Dorman, James Franklin "Red",James Franklin "Red" Dorman, passed away on Saturday, March 11, 2017 due to kidney and congestive heart failure. He was 88. James was born on September 8, 1928 in Yazoo City, Mississippi. He was a loving and faithful husband. He loved going to church and was a faithful member of Parkland Baptist Church, "Red" served his country in the United States Army from January 1951 to November 1952. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Virginia Dorman. He is survived by his loving wife, Brenda Dorman; his three children, Frank, Elizabeth, and Richard; three step-children, Terry, Jerry, and Jacqueline; two grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 14, 2017 at Noon in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood, & Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy at Brooks Rd.) with burial in Brookland Cemetery. Friends may pay their respects on Monday, March 13, 2017 from 4:00pm until 8:00pm. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the Kidney Foundation or Parkland Baptist Church.
