James W. Felder was born in Chicago, Illinois on December 3, 1964, to James and Annita Felder. James had a wonderful stepfather Walter R. Parks, who had been in his life, since the age of 9. James had two sisters; Rachel and Amina and he was the oldest but he was lovingly referred to as the “little brother” by Amina.
James made a life for himself in Massachusetts, were he worked as a manager for Gloucester Cold Storage. His coworkers simply loved him.
James had three children James, Mina and Nicole. He loved being around his family, dancing, talking smack and playing cards. He was a very talented artist when he was younger. He would spend hours drawing. He had a kind heart and was loved by everyone who crossed his path.
James accepted Christ at an early age. He would learn Bible verses with his great grandfather Willie (D.D.) Hudson. He had a strong faith which he carried with him throughout his life.
James life ended unexpectedly on April 24, 2019.
James leaves to mourn his passing: three children; James and Mina of Chicago, IL and Nicole of Gloucester, MA. His parents, Walter and Annita Parks of University Park, IL and James Felder of Fort Wayne, IN; two sisters Rachel Martin (Herbert) of Park Forest, IL and Amina Parks Dunkins (Larry) of University Park, IL. One niece Annita Martin of Park Forest, IL; Three nephews; James Shamon Gipson of University Park, IL, Aaron Martin of Park Forest, IL and Jaylen McCoy of University Park, IL. One special Aunt Peggy Burton and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
