Ernst, JamesJames E. Ernst, age 67, New London, passed away on Wednesday, December 28, 2016 at Theda Clark Medical Center, Neenah. He was born on May 7, 1949 in New London son of the late Richard and Carolina (Heimbruch) Ernst. James formerly worked a Hillshire Farms and then worked in the logging industry for many years.He is survived by his significant other and caretaker, Marianne Black; a son James Ernst, Shiocton; three grandchildren, Brady, Jamie and Jillian; brothers and sisters: Suzanne (Roger) Reindl, Clintonville; Connie Fietzer, New London; John (Robin) Ernst, New London; Leslie Ernst, Shiocton; Theresa Armitage, Menasha; Jerome (Sandra) Ernst, New London; Donna (Dan) Paters, Hortonville; Jeffrey (Leanne) Ernst, New London; Doreen Ernst, Clintonville and lifelong friend, John Herminath. He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister Barb Elsholtz and a son Justin.Memorial service for James will be held on Friday, December 30, 2016, at 6:00 p.m. at Cline & Hanson Funeral Home, New London with Rev. Preston Heuer officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 3:00 p.m. until the time of service. Burial will be in the Turney Hill Cemetery, Town of Liberty.
