James Anthony GolffVentura, CAObituaryJames Anthony Golff was born on the beautiful sunny day of July 31, 1957 to Anthony Golff and Carmen Lydia Golff in McLean, Virginia. James enjoyed a life filled with music, art, film, and people of diverse talents. On the cutting edge of the video industry, James co-produced many popular movies under the ?Camp Videos? umbrella which has a huge cult following to this day. He later became involved in the transportation end of the television and movie industry, chauffeuring stars such as James Coburn and Lorenzo Lamas where he became like one of the family. James loved animals of all kinds and one time took over three hours to gingerly un-trap a dragon fly from a spider web, being careful to not hurt its wings. Victoria Coveart and Jimmy Vert, his Grandchildren by marriage were on the receiving end of his love and care over the last several years. James is survived by his loving wife of 20 years, Heidi Golff, brothers Charles and Robert Golff, and several cousins and nephews. Memorial Service will be held this Saturday, April 22nd at 2:00 p.m. at Community Presbyterian Church where he attended. In lieu of flowers, donations to any no-kill animal shelter would be appreciated.
