Jackie Eugene Page passed over peacefully into the arms of the lord on Sunday April 7th 2019! He was 81 years old, just 17 days shy of being 82. He served in the US Air Force for 25 plus years. He was a Vietnam veteran and retired as a SMSGT. He was a beloved Father, Husband,Grandpa, brother, uncle and friend to many. He loved the Lord, his family and friends, his country and country music. He sang and played the guitar his whole life and had the voice of an angel. Family and friends would gather and listen to him play and sing for hours. He also loved taking pictures on road trips which there were many. During family gatherings he would be the first one gathering people up together to take photos. He loved fishing, hunting and taking his boat on the lake. He loved taking rides out in the country with his son just soaking up the nature that always spoke volumes to him. He had a heart as big as the ocean and always loved unconditionally!
He is Preceded in death by: His parents Marshall and Rilla Edwards. Father: Arthur Fay McKinney. Brothers: Michael Edwards, Jimmy McKinney and David McKinney(killed in Vietnam). Sisters: Wilma Morris and Arlene Wootton. He is survived by Wife: Mary Page. Daughter: Connie Duval (Husband Dana), Son: Randy Page (Wife Donna), Brothers: Harold, Howard and Jimmy Edwards, Howard and Billy McKinney. Sisters: Gail Halford, Debra Edwards, Rachel Caknip, Ann Shelton, Betty Caknipe. Stepsons: Darrell Pellacani (Wife Genny) Arnold and Ricky Pellacani. Grand children: Cory Duval, Cameron Duval, Zachary Page, Joshua Page, Step grandchildren: Brandon Crabtree (wife Rebecca), Jason Calzada, Samantha Plemons (husband Brian), William Pellacani, Megan Richey (husband Dillon), Justin, Audry and Abby Pellacani. Great grandchildren: Cody Page, Adrian Page. Step great grandchildren: Sophia and Owen Plemons. 22 nieces and nephews. 21 Great nieces and nephews. 18 Great great nieces and nephews.
A memorial/celebration of life will be held at Beulah Baptist Church . 123 Beulah Church Ln., Tryon, NC 38782 on Saturday October 12th at 2:00 o’clock p.m. In Lieu of flowers there will be a donation box the day of the service if God puts it on your heart to do so which will go to Beulah Baptist Church.
