Jack Taylor, 57, of Chicago, Illinois, United States, passed Thursday, March 19, 2020. Jack was born July 16, 1959, to Emmet and Gloria Taylor. Jack attended Metro South High school. Upon graduation he entered the Navy serving his country for 4 years. Jack was a Self Employed electical engineer. He also was a great inventor. He looked for ways to improve the quaility of life.

Jack was a loving father of three; Octavious Taylor, Robert Taylor, and Aja Taylor. Jack often said his best accomplishment was his kids. On July 16, 2014 He married the love of his life Erana Taylor.  Together they organized farmer markets in urban areas thoughout the Chicagoland area summer. His goal was to bring fresh food to the under served communities. Jack's deep love for people will always be remembered.  In 2016 Jack rallied with the community to save the local high school. Not only were they successful, the school is still thriving. 

Jack is preceeded in Death by his father Emmet Taylor and His brother Benny Taylor. He leaves behind: His Sisters Rose Taylor, Peggy Taylor, Sarah Dunn (Ken Dunn); His brothers Marcus Greer, Emmett Taylor, and John Taylor; His children, Octavious Taylor, Robert Taylor, and Aja Taylor; His grand child Jody Taylor. and a host of nieces, nephews cousins and friends.
