Ivan B. Ray1928 - 2013Ivan B. Ray, 85, a resident of Kenosha, passed away on Oct. 15, 2013, at St. Josephs Home and Rehabilitation Center. He was born on Feb. 7, 1928, in Waukegan, Ill., to Ivan and Mary (Czarneski) Ray Sr. Ivan served in the United States Army and on May 12, 1955, he married Lucille Garramone.Ivan worked as a custodian for the Kenosha Unified School District. He worked hard and cherished the time he was able to spend with his family. Ivan and Lucille loved to travel, spending time in Ireland, in Spain and in Hawaii on 16 different trips. He loved golfing and was a very social person who enjoyed dancing, dining out and a good celebration. Ivan is survived by his two sons, Kyle (Linda) Ray and Kristopher Ray, both of Kenosha; three grandsons, Justin Ray, Morgan Ray and Jason Karls and one great grandson, Jacob Jepson.Ivan was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Lucille in 2006 and a son Kurt Ray.Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Oct. 19, 2013, at Kemper Center Founders Hall (6501-3rd Ave.) at 11 a.m. Visitation with the family will take place from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service.
