Ivan G. Christensen65, an Indianapolis native passed away on Monday, September 25, 2017 at his home. Ivan was born on October 31, 1951 to Don and Wanjean (Wheatley) Christensen.Ivan is retired from Marion County Public Library and has recently been employed at OneAmerica.He is survived by two sisters: Laura Tyler, Phyllis Hoenstine both of Indianapolis; two nephews: Zach Christensen, Joey Christensen; a niece: Emily Christensen all of St. Louis; Missouri.Ivan is preceded in death by his parents; a brother: Bruce Christensen.Family will receive friends on Wednesday, October 4, 2017 from 11:00 am until his funeral service at 1:00 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Indianapolis Chapel, 925 East Hanna Ave., Indianapolis, Indiana 46227.
