Dallas - ISMAEL DIAZ PRINCETON - Ismael "Mel" Diaz of Princeton, Texas, 65, passed away on November 3, 2016 with his wife and family by his side. He was the owner of Mel's Paint & Body Shop. He was born on December 3, 1950 in Weslaco, Texas; son of Elizabeth Torres Diaz & Fidel Diaz+. He is survived by his loving wife: Barbara Jean Osborne Diaz; his children, Melissa Diaz-Hernandez (Nick), Daniel Diaz (Leticia), Stephen Eric Diaz, and Chazz Allen Diaz. Also surviving is his brothers, Efrain Diaz, Abel Diaz, Ely Diaz, Eduardo Diaz, and sisters; Rosa Elia Peña, Noelia Garcia, Estela Rodriguez, Mary P. Zuniga; his grandchildren, Alexis Danielle Diaz, Chelsea Elyse Diaz, Chase Diaz, Nikki Mia Hernandez, and Nathaniel Marcus Hernandez. He is preceded in death by his father Fidel Diaz.
