Irma Mae Hendrix Was Born December 14th, 1945 in Shreveport Lousiana To Bennie Mae Hendrix And Ernest Hendrix they also preceded her in death. In-laws: Dorothy Jean Hendrix, Rosie Lee Maxwell and David Maxwell, Two siblings: Micheal Hendrix and Ronald Hendrix also preceded her in death.

Irma Attended Forty-Ninth Street Elementary School, Gorge Washington Carver Jr high and Huntington Park high. Irma met her soulmate in junior high ( not knowing he lived one block away). The Two wed in 1961 and were happily married for over 50 years. To this union, they were blessed with Eleven beautiful children Nick, Karesma, Robert, Jon, Henry, Alphonso, Betty, Herman, Ray, Rosie and Lawrence along with Five Grandchildren: Nikki, Alex, Brandon, Khia, and Stony.

Irma worked for Vermont Gardens located in Los Angeles California as a Certified Nurse Assistant For Ten years. she then became a foster parent 25 years ago this was her passion she parented over 100 plus children. Irma's lifelong hobbies were shopping, traveling and excursions. 

Irma leaves to cherish her memory to her Eleven Children Nick, Karesma Robert, Jon, Henry, Alphonso, Betty, Herman, Ray, and Rosie: Grandchildren: Nikki, Alex, Brandon, Khia, and Stoney. Two God Children Torian and Amaya. Daughter in laws Draya, Ashley And Angela. Brother in laws: Robert, Kweli, and Troy. Along with a host of nieces and nephews and best friends Reginald and Valerie Tate
