Harlingen, TX - Irene Ramirez Elizalde, 61, went to be with our Lord on Tuesday, December 6, 2016, in Harlingen, Texas. She was born on January 21, 1955 in Harlingen to Felix Sr. and Elida Ramirez.She was preceded in death by her parents, Felix Sr. and Elida D. Ramirez; and father-in-law, Alfredo Elizalde.Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband of 38 years, Sergio Elizalde; her children, Sandra Contreras (Stanley) and Trisha Perales (Lupe); grandchildren, Elizar Perales, Isaiah Perales, Jaden Contreras, and Aryanna Contreras; brothers and sisters, Rosendo Ramirez (Molly), Bernie Ramirez (Liz), Albert Ramirez, Felix Ramirez Jr. (Mandy), Olga Von Duben (Luis), Bertha Ramirez; numerous nephews, nieces, and cousins; and mother-in-law, Matilde Elizalde.Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 8, 2016, from 2:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a prayer of the Holy Rosary at 7 p.m. led by Mandy Ramirez.Funeral mass will be held on Friday, December 9, 2016, at 10 a.m. at St. Anthony Catholic Church. Services will conclude after the mass.Honorary pallbearers will be Isaiah Perales and Aryanna Contreras.
