Irene Pearl HetrickLINDSEY: Irene "Pearly" Hetrick, age 89, of Lindsey, OH passed away on Thursday, January 5, 2017 at The Toledo Hospital, Toledo, OH. She was born on July 20, 1927 in Lindsey, OH to Merle and Cleo (Dunmyer) King. On November 8, 1947 she married Elmer Hetrick in Lindsey at the Evangelical United Brethren Church and together they would raise three girls. In addition to being a wife, mother and "Granny" to her grandchildren, Pearly was a professional artist with numerous paintings to her credit. She had an appreciation of fine art and enjoyed flower gardening. She was also a member of Grace Community Church in Fremont. In addition to her husband Elmer of nearly 70 years, Pearly is survived by her daughters: Diane (Jim) Metzler of Sylvania, OH, Nancy (David) Lee of Alva, FL, Julie (Charles) Schwochow of Fremont, OH, grandchildren: Yurii Fought of Gibsonburg, OH, Danielle Young of Celebration, FL, Samuel Lee of Arlington, VA, Charles Young of Fremont, OH, Jeff Metzler of Perrysburg, OH, brothers: Carl King of Centerville, OH, Donald (Ellen) King of Fremont, OH and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Warren King.Family and Friends will be received on Monday, January 9, 2017 from 5-8 PM at the Marsh Funeral Home, 201 W. Main Street, Woodville, OH, where funeral services will be conducted at 11 AM, Tuesday, January 10, 2017. There will be an additional time of visitation from 10 AM until time of services. Officiating will be Pastor Forrest Kirchenbauer. Interment will be in Lindsey Cemetery, Lindsey, OH. Memorials may take the form of contributions to the Birchard Public Library in Fremont.
