Ida A. Fischer1916 - 2013Ida A. Fischer, 97, formerly of Cecil, passed away on Friday, July 26, 2013, in Appleton.Ida was born on May 20, 1916, to the late Edward and Natalie (Reindfleisch) Wilke in Town of Underhill. On Oct. 17, 1934, she married Carl Fischer at Immanuel Lutheran Church, White Clay Lake, Cecil. Carl preceded her in death on July 6, 1991. Ida and Carl farmed for many years. She enjoyed working on the farm with Carl. She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church White Clay Lake, and a member of the Ladies Aid. Ida was also active in quilting at church and she was an excellent seamstress. She liked to travel, which she was able to do with her family. She enjoyed her grandchildren, they meant the world to her.She is survived by her children, Donald (Deloris) Fischer, Little Chute, Mavis (Myron) Herman, Kenosha, Judith (Ken) Manthei Cecil; nine grandchildren, Bruce (Karen) Fischer, Steven (Vicky) Fischer, Richard (Lisa) Fischer, Timm (Helen) Herman, Alison (David) Jordan, Angie (Michael) Buckley, Joe (Linda) Herman, Scott Manthei, Glenn Manthei; 26 great grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Carl; a grandson, Jason Fischer; a great granddaughter, Danielle (daughter of Jason and Patty Fischer); a brother and sister-in-law.Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 30, 2013, at 11 a.m. at Immanuel Lutheran Church White Clay Lake, Cecil with Rev. Steven Pockat officiating. Family and friends may call on Monday, July 29, at Zastrow Funeral Home in Cecil from 4 until 8 p.m. and Tuesday at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of the service.
