Howard Thomas “Bud” Haynes, Jr. 1934-2016 age 81, of Medina, passed away Nov. 13, 2016. He was born on Nov. 17, 1934 in Massillon, Ohio to the late Howard Thomas and Louise (Buechling) Haynes. Bud had many different careers throughout his life, but the one he enjoyed and held most recently was as a parking attendant for the Medina Police Department. He was a member of the Optimist Club and a longtime avid golfer. He served his country proudly in US Army. Bud is survived by three loving daughters, Christa (fiancé Paul Brenner) Correnti, Jill (Scott) Melena, and Amy (Andrew) Arenberg; dear grandchildren, Meghan, Brianne, Frank, Emily, Heather, Alexa, Brad, and Abigail; his sisters, Peggy Tallant and Barbara (Charlie) Guess; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 5-7 p.m. at Waite & Son Funeral Home, 765 N. Court St., Medina 44256. A Celebration of his life will immediately follow the visitation at the funeral home on Wednesday at 7 p.m. A private family burial with military honors will be held at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Seville.
