Hermania \"Peggi\" Masten-Thomas, 85, of Upper Marlboro, Maryland, passed on October 23, 2020. Hermania was born on September 18, 1935 in Havre de Grace, MD to the late Herman Masten and late Pearl Masten (nee Dennison) She was formerly married to the late Maxzeller Leonard Thomas of Fort Washington, MD and with him had four children. Anthony Sr., Lawrence Edward (Cristiane), Deborah Renee, and Reginald Eugene. She was a proud federal employee working with Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) for 30 years before retiring in 1993. A longtime resident of Seat Pleasant, MD prior to moving to Upper Marlboro, Peggi had numerous friends and neighbors who adored her and her zest for life. For many years, Peggi could be seen driving down the road on her way to a bowling tournament, or a swim class. Peggi\'s effervescent and love for her family will be sorely missed especially by her 9 grandchildren Anthony Jr., Darieus, Marcus, Alondra, Deborah, Ariana, Lawrence Jr., Barrington the III, and Brooke. She also leaves behind 5 great-grandchildren and a host of great-nieces, and great-nephews who will miss her dearly.
