It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Herbert Jackson at the University Hospital on Sunday, May 18, 2020 after fighting a rare lung cancer. Herbert was in his 83rd year. 

Loving father to Jerry Jackson, Jerron Jackson and Ericka Jackson. 

Herbert was the oldest brother to Grace (Gracie) and Joe Jackson. 

He was the proud grandfather to Takia and Janae Jackson, Jashauna and Daijionna Harris, Re'Niya Smith, and Akcire Jackson. 

He was an uplifting man who adored his family. He loved to go to the lake and sit and listen to the water while having a beer. He was a family fan and loved seeing his family all together. 

Herbert has a sense of humor that you couldn't help but to laugh. He enjoyed making others smile and could uplift anyone's day. He will be truly missed.
