CHURUBUSCO — Henry C. Linnemeier, 91, of rural Churubusco died Wednesday, Feb. 5, 2014, at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne. He had been in failing health since November. Mr. Linnemeier was a farmer in Lake and Eel River townships. He was a member of the Faith Lutheran Church in Churubusco. He was born on Nov. 16, 1922, in Lake Township to Carl and Bertha (Stahlhut) Linnemeier. On July 14, 1951, he married Lois L. Yohey in Allen County. She survives. He was a member of the Faith Lutheran Church in Churubusco. Also surviving are his three children, Nancy (Stan) Loos of Rome City, Barbara Covell of Fort Wayne and Ruth Linnemeier of Churubusco; three grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Ralph Linnemeier and Elmer F. Linnemeier; and by two sisters, Velma Heckman and Alma Kruse. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at Faith Lutheran Church in Churubusco with Pastor Lane Burgland officiating. Burial will be in the Eel River Cemetery, Churubusco. Visitation will be from 2-5 p.m. Sunday at the church and one hour prior to the service Monday. Memorials are to Faith Lutheran Church in Churubusco or the Huntertown Volunteer Fire Department.
