Henry E. Webb IIIGuthrie, KYHenry E. Webb, III - Passed away peacefully on September 11, 2017, at the age of 89. He is survived by his beloved brother, William C. Webb Sr. and Betty T. Webb, nephew William C. Webb Jr. and Julie Webb, and niece Douglas W. Power (Dee Dee) and Dean Power. He is also survived by his grandnieces Anna Grace Webb and Madison F. Power and grandnephew William Henry Webb.Affectionately known to all as 'Boots', Henry was born on June 7, 1928, in Clarksville, TN. and was preceded in death by his parents, Henry E. Webb Jr. and Douglas Cook Webb. He is also preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Henry E. Webb Sr. and Minnie Poindexter Webb and maternal grandparents J. W. Cook and Nannie Taylor Cook.Following his graduation from Clarksville High School and Northwestern University, Henry returned to Guthrie and joined the family businesses which was established in 1910. Henry worked alongside his brother at both Cook-Webb Furniture Store and as licensed funeral director at Cook-Webb Funeral Home having been a licensed funeral director from 1959 to 2007.Henry, a veteran of the Armed Forces, was of the Baptist faith.Visitation will be held at Cook-Webb Funeral Home on Saturday, September 16, 2017 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM with the funeral following at 2:00 PM with Brother Dave Brown officiating.
