Heng Bour, 93, of Saugus, MA passed on January 16, 2021 at 11:09am. Heng was born on December 27, 1928 in Kondal Province in Cambodia. His father's name was Yong Prum and Mother Pen Tun.

Heng and his late wife, Yee, had 7 kids, 18 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Their eldest child, Churm, passed during the Khmer Rouge. The 2nd child, Chea, currently resides in Australia. San and Srey, the 3rd and 4th children respectively, live in Cambodia. David, the 5th child, lives in the US in Saugus, MA. 6th and 7th children, Oin and Lok, live in Cambodia as well.

During his time in Cambodia, he was a chef for the government. He enjoyed cooking for large gatherings, in his spare time he loved to participate in Lakorn. He was a great fisherman and was a deep diver in the Mekong river for a fishing company.

Heng arrived in America in 1994. He loved his homeland very much but left in pursuit of a better life than he was able to provide for his children back in Cambodia. He was alway a kind hearted man, well loved by his community. Heng was always a very happy and energetic person. He loved his family very much and loved to joke around. He helped care for Sydney and Peter during their elementary years. He often created funny poems for his grandchildren to listen to, during our walks to and from school.

His wish was always to return to Cambodia and be reunited with his children and grandchildren.

He lived a great life full of love, happiness, and adventures.

He will be missed and honored by his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

Funeral services will take place on Wednesday, January 20th at 8:00am. At Goodrich Funeral Home, 128 Washington St, Lynn, MA 01902. From there we will leave to the Crematorium: Puritan Lawn, Peabody.
