Yoblonski, HelenHelen Claire "Tootie" Yoblonski, (Bikowski) age 91 of Oshkosh, WI passed away peacefully on October 31st. 2017 at Bella Vista Manor in Oshkosh. She was born on February 11, 1926 in Oconto, WI, the daughter of the late Clara and Joseph Bikowski. She was preceded in death by four half-brothers, Richie, Lenny, Raymond, Harry "Buddy" Bikowski, all of Oconto a half-sister, Pearl Scheuren of Sheboygan, and grandson Alex Hunt, Oshkosh. Her brother Joseph "Boots" (Ruth) Bikowski of Oconto, survive her. She graduated from Oconto High School and married the late Stephen Yoblonski in 1948. They settled in Berlin, WI where she gave birth to 8 children: Mary Schreiber, Steve (Mary) Yoblonski, Cynthia (Steve) Hunt, Rick (Tammy) Yoblonski and Alicia Yoblonski (Mike Fretchel) all of Oshkosh, Anita Dyer of Green Bay and Christine (Greg) Schilcher of Plover. Infant son, David, died shortly after birth. They moved to Omro, Wi in 1965 where she was left to raise seven children (ages 3-15) on her own following the work-related death of her husband, Steve, that same year. She went on to work at Miles Kimball, EAA and Fleet Farm until her retirement at age 75. She moved from Omro to Oshkosh in 1985 and has resided at Bella Vista Manor since April 2017.She enjoyed playing cards and reading harlequin Romance novels. Along with her brother "Boots" and seven children, she is survived by 14 grandchildren, Brandon and Stephanie Schreiber, Nick (Chrystal) Yoblonski, Ian (Elizabeth) Hunt, Andrew, Megan and David Yoblonski, Christopher (Alison) Theabo and Danielle Theabo, John and Molly Dyer and Anna and Olivia Schilcher. She is further survived by 3 great-granddaughters, Julia, Isabel and Ava Yoblonski and numerous nieces and nephews.Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, November 3, 2017 at 11 am at St. Jude Catholic Church (Sacred Heart Church) 519 Knapp St., Oshkosh, WI. Father Matt Simonar will be the celebrant. Visitation will be held at the church on Friday from 10 am until the time of Mass. Burial will be at 11:00 a.m. on Sat. Nov. 4 2017 at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Oconto, WI.The family would like to extend special thanks to the staff of Bella Vista Manor and Heartland Hospice.In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established.
