Helen M. Merrick1927 - 2013 Helen Merrick, 86, of Kenosha passed away on Tuesday, Oct. 22, 2013 at Grande Prairie in Pleasant Prairie. Helen was born on April 29, 1927, in Kenosha, the daughter of the late Henry and Lillian (Meusling) Streich. She was educated in the schools of Kenosha. She married Milton Merrick on April 21, 1951, in Kenosha. She was a homemaker for many years. Her hobbies included doing puzzles, bowling, being outdoors, and spending time with family and friends, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Survivors include her husband, Milton Merrick; her children, Sharon (John) Roach of Wausaukee, WI, Christopher Gustavus of Pleasant Prairie, Caroline (Marty) Gauss of Kenosha, Sandra (Dean) Setzler of McHenry, Ill., Mark Merrick of Kenosha; a brother, Paul Streich of S.C.; 11 grandchildren; many great grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her brother, Donald Streich. A visitation will be held on Friday, Oct. 25, 2013, at Kenosha Funeral Services from 5 p.m. - 7 p.m. with funeral services to follow at 7 p.m. Private burial Green Ridge Cemetery.
