Siegrist, Helen Hester (Nee Fitch) died Friday, March 31, 2017, at the Milwaukee Catholic Home in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Helen was born on August 4, 1922, in Benton, Illinois, to the late Rev. Millard and Mary (McPhee) Fitch. She attended school in Coshocton, Ohio. After graduation, she married Carl R. Siegrist in 1940. They divorced in 1960. After working as a travel agent for several years, she started a new career in newspaper display advertising sales where she worked until retirement. Helen liked to listen to music and was a gourmet cook. She loved everything French and traveled to Paris three times. She enjoyed golfing and also took up downhill skiing in her forties. Helen is survived by her son, Carl R. Siegrist, Jr. and his wife Sandy of Whitefish Bay, Wisconsin; grandson, Zach Siegrist and his wife Leeann Briscoe of Gig Harbor, Washington; two sisters and many nieces and nephews.
