Hartwell, Harold R.Harold R. Hartwell, 93, Green Bay, died Sunday, August 6, 2017. He was born on November 19, 1923, in Detroit, MI and was raised by Roland and Nellie Hartwell.On July 13, 1943, Harold married Carole Fiedler at Annunciation Catholic Church. She preceded him in death on October 1, 1996. Harold served in the U.S. Coast Guard during World War II. He was self-employed as an electrical contractor. Harold was a member of Green Bay Kiwanis and Oneida Country Club. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, billiards, singing, and playing the organ.Harold is survived by seven children, Steve (Sharon) Hartwell, Dale (Maxine) Hartwell, Sue (Doug) Barsness, Rick (Deborah) Hartwell, Bryan (Darlene) Hartwell, Paula Hartwell, Craig (Brenda) Hartwell; ten grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to his wife, Carole, he was preceded in death by his parents; and a son-in-law, Greg Barsness.Friends may call at Blaney Funeral Home, 1521 Shawano Ave., from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, followed by a Memorial Service at 7 p.m. at the funeral home with Sister Dorothy Wagner officiating.
