Herbert Robinson, 68, of Brawley passed away on Friday, November 4, 2016. Herbert Robinson was born on July 31, 1948 in Scotts, Mississippi to the late Juner Robinson and Julia Ledora Robinson. After graduation in 1967 he worked for El Centro Naval Facility and then went on to work at the US Border Patrol in El Centro, as a General Maintenance Mechanic. He retired on September 3, 2005 with 38 years of service. Hebert is survived by his by children; Kerry (Su) Robinson, Herbert Robinson Jr., Herman Robinson, Sonya (Harry) Robinson-Abel; brothers; Percy (Joann) Robinson, Thomas (Renee) Robinson and Kenneth (Mitzi) Robinson; sisters, Elmarie (Jimmy) Skipper, Pat Dorsey and Brenda (James) Haley. Church service will be held on Saturday, November 12, 2016 at New Mt. Olive Baptist Church in Brawley at 9 a.m. Burial will immediately follow at Riverview Cemetery in Brawley.
