Harold Hicks, 51, of Roberta, GA, was born to the parentage of the late Mr. Eugene Hicks and Mrs. Lorene Deese Hicks on July 22, 1968.
He grew up in Crawford County and graduated from Crawford County Comprehensive High School in 1986. He was affectionately called "Nig" by all who knew him in GA. Nig was known for his humor. He always had a joke to tell to bring a smile to many faces. He had a loving, caring, and compassionate demeanor that captured everyone's attention. He loved his family. He later relocated to Pittsburgh, PA, and gained the nicknames "Black" and "E." H was employed by the WrightAway Construction Company there and was a little league baseball coach and mentor. He enjoyed teaching the players and always motivated them, win or lose. He would often tell them they were Champions.
On Friday, June 19, 2020, his demise came while in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He was preceded in death by one child, Jarvis Robinson, mother, Lorene Deese Hicks, and father, Eugene Hicks.
Nig will be missed by all who knew him. Those left to cherish his memories are a loving companion and fiance, Angela Pinckney; his loving children: Elijah Hicks, Ladarvus Jabrian Robinson, Keshia Nicole Robinson (David), Emily Evans, and Caregan Pressley; two grandchildren: Journi and Wisdom Robinson; Siblings: a devoted and loving sister Pamela Hicks McCoy (Lamar), Angela Bartley (Steve), Eric Snead, April Snead, Kirstie Snead, James Redmond, and Milford Daniel; Uncles: Alonzo Jones (Audrey), Danny Jones (Bobbie), Eddie Kendrick (Mary), Robert T. Hicks, Sr, Wiley Dickey, and Benjamin Bakon; a devoted aunt, Diane Hicks Colbert, Parie Lee Smith, and Lula Bakon; nieces: Latoshia, Evette, and Kyara; nephew: Tyshawn Bartley; two great-nephews: Jamiyah and Messiah; one great-niece: Malaysia Queen; a devote friend, Derrick Wright; and a host of other relatives and friends.
