H. Marie MillerGlen RockH. Marie (Burns) Miller, 87, died Saturday March 11, 2017 at her home. She was the wife of Donald W. Miller, with whom she celebrated a 68th wedding anniversary on August 14, 2016.Funeral Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday March 13, 2017 at the Geiple Funeral Home, Inc., 53 Main St., Glen Rock, her pastor the Rev. Katie Brantner, officiating. Burial will be in St. Paul (Hametown) Church Cemetery. A viewing will be held from 1 to 2 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.Mrs. Miller was born on July 13, 1929, in Lower Chanceford Township, a daughter of the late Frank M. and Hannah J. (McGurk) Burns. She was employed as an Equipment Technician in the Heart Catheterization Lab at York Hospital for over 18 years and prior to that had worked as a trimmer at several local sewing companies.Marie was a member of St. Paul (Hametown) Lutheran Church for over 50 years.Besides her husband, she leaves a son, Robert E. Miller and his wife, Jane of Seven Valleys; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son, Barry B. Miller; a great-grandson, Kellen Koller and was the last of her nine siblings.
