Gwendolyn Rhea BullardGwendolyn Rhea Bullard, 79, of Denton, died Sunday, January 29, 2017 at Denton Regional Medical Center.Gwen was born on May 15, 1937 in Dallas, TX to James Howard and Dovie Ola (Goodson) Hunter. She graduated from Denton High school and was voted FFA sweetheart. After high school she worked for Texas Instruments and Vogue Cleaners; she worked for many years at K-Mart in Denton in the garden center.Gwendolyn is survived by her daughter, Kim Stone and her husband David of Celina; son, Tildon D. Bullard and his wife Vickie of Denton; brother, Rick Hunter of Denton; granddaughter, Afton Riddle; great granddaughter, Farryn Delaney. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Bobbie Nell Mohon and Pat Bragg.A visitation will be held from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Wednesday, February 1, 2017 at the funeral home. Funeral service will be held at 10:00 Thursday, February 2, 2017 in the chapel of Mulkey-Bowles-Montgomery Funeral Home, 705 N. Locust, Denton.
