During this time, he pursued and obtained his Master of Science in Education from Baylor University. He then moved to San Antonio East Central High School for his final teaching stop before retiring to become a Music Festival consultant. He was a member of the Texas Music Educators Association and held many positions with the organization throughout his prestigious years of teaching.
Lynn loved vocal music and held church music director positions in Cisco, Midland and Mexia. He loved to sing with his father, mother and sisters. He also enjoyed singing with his sons on Sunday evenings. He had a real passion for Gospel music with rich harmonies.
Lynn strived to always show his undivided attention and genuine respect to all his students, colleagues, and everyone he came into contact with.
