Gordon H. PetherickFarragut, TNGordon H. Petherick, 93, of Farragut, TN, danced his way into heaven on April 3, 2017. Well-liked and often loved by those who knew him, he is greatly missed by family and friends. Gordon was born on January 27, 1924, in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, where he later met and successfully wooed the love of his life and future wife, Beryl Davy. Gordon served in the Royal Canadian Air Force in British Columbia during World War II. He was a graduate of the University of Toronto and received his MBA at the University of Michigan before enjoying a distinguished career as a systems analyst. He and Beryl, in their many adventures together, immigrated to the U.S. from Canada in 1951. They moved to several different states before moving to Maitland, FL, where they later retired. Gordon was a member of Maitland Presbyterian Church. He loved music, especially jazz tunes and Big Band favorites, and was a marvelous dancer. He is predeceased by his wife, Beryl Davy Petherick; parents, Ernest and Elizabeth (Elsie) Petherick; and siblings, William Petherick, Audrey Sinclair, and Ernie Petherick.
