Glen also will be missed by his many nieces and nephews.Glen worked at Alexian Brothers retirement home for Priests, Robbins Restaurant, and was retired from Rockwell International after 30+ years of service. For Glen, his wife and family always came first. It gave him great joy to watch his own family grow as his children married and began their own families. He loved to fill his small cozy home with activities and sounds of grandkids and great grandkids playing and laughing. The more the merrier was rule at Mom and Dad's.Dad also loved to fish and hunt. He spent many hours teaching us to fish from shore at Menominee Park and later from his fishing boat. Many of his grandkids have precious memories of fishing with him as well.Deer hunting was another love of Dad's, one he shared with his three sons, grandsons and one granddaughter. They all were skilled at both bow and gun. Pheasant, duck, and goose hunting were included as well.Dad had an artistic side not many people knew about. He could draw just about anything and sometimes painted still life pictures. He used this artistic side when he built his model railroad layouts often including mini replicas of his son's hunting cabins with such minute detail in the scenery.A memorial service will be held at Konrad-Behlman Funeral Homes-Westside, 100 Lake Pointe Dr., on Thursday, June 15, 2017 at 12:00PM with Dr. Ted Tromble officiating. Although he is at peace and finally dancing in Heaven with his beloved wife, Marlyn, he will be greatly missed but never forgotten.Glen's family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff of the Waterford and Heartland Hospice for the loving care he received from his "extended family".
