RACINE - Gladys (nee: Shannon) Lipke, passed away on March 26, 2012. She was born on May 20, 1920 in Pender, Nebraska, the daughter of the late Hugh and Libby (nee: Marlow) Shannon. Gladys was united in marriage to Arnold Lipke on December 6, 1938 in Oshkosh WI. She was an active member of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, and as volunteer for the church preschool, where she was known "Grandma Lipke" to many of kids. A Memorial services will be held Saturday April 14 at 10:00 am at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, with Rev. Sheppard officiating. There will be a visitation at the church from 9:00 am to 10:00 am prior to the service. Memorials to Prince of Peace Lutheran Preschool have been suggested.
