EPSOM – Gertrude Murray, 89, passed away Monday, Oct. 3, 2016, at the Harris Hill Nursing Home in Concord while surrounded by her family.Gert was born on July 25, 1927, in Pawtucket, R.I., the daughter of Camille and Antonia (Beauchesne) Boisse. She was the spouse of the late Francis C. Murray.She was a graduate of Notre Dame High School in Rhode Island and a long term employee of Miriam Hospital in Providence, R.I.Mémère loved playing cards with her favorite grandson Ryan, whom she always let win.  Gert was happiest when surrounded by her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is survived by her daughters, Gloria and her husband, Gerald Potter of Seffner, Fla. and Denise and her husband, Al Boulais of Allenstown; and her son, Michael F. Murray and his wife, Tammy of Bow; and grand-kids, Jerry, God-daughter, Kristen, Scott, Brenda, Alison, Matt and Ryan.Gert also leaves her sister, Cecile Remy of Attleboro, Mass. and was predeceased by her brother, Ronald Boisse.On Thursday, Oct. 6th, family and friends are gathering from 9 to 10 a.m. at the Petit Funeral Home, 167 Main Street in Pembroke.  At 10:30 a.m. there will be a mass of Christian burial celebrated at St. John the Baptist Church in Allenstown, followed by burial in the NH State Veterans Cemetery in Boscawen at 12:30 p.m.The family asks that in lieu of flowers donations be made to Concord Regional VNA Hospice House, 30 Pillsbury St., Concord, NH 03301 for the benefit of Harris Hill Nursing Home.
