Geraldine "Gerry" Elizabeth (Stewart) Kennedy, 95, of Manchester, beloved daughter of the late Gordon and Josephine (Landry) Stewart, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, February 15, 2017 with her daughter by her side. Gerry was born on August 9, 1921 in Hartford and had been a longtime resident of East Hartford before moving to Manchester. She was employed by Pratt & Whitney and retired from The Travelers Company. She was a member of The Travelers Women's Club and an active member of St. Rose Church in East Hartford. She was an avid reader and enjoyed Word Search Puzzles and a good Gin & Tonic. She loved to travel, especially to her favorite place, London, but what gave her the most joy was the time she spent with her family. Gerry is survived by her daughter, Kathleen Noel and her husband Dave; her daughter, Julie Kennedy; and her son, Richard Kennedy, Jr. and his wife Kim. She also leaves behind her grandchildren, Kara Crawford and her partner Joey, Jon Crawford and his wife Tatsiana, Jessica Flowers and her partner Mark, Sarah Klock and her fiancé Garrett, Harrison Kennedy, Rebecca Kennedy and Lauren Kennedy; and her great-grandchildren, Josh, Hanna, Myles, Hayden, Nicholas, Elijah, Ian and Henry. She will be missed by her companion and guardian Princess. She was predeceased by her husband of 57 years, Richard Kennedy, Sr., and by her siblings, Gordon, Joseph, Josephine, Frederick, Francis, James, Mary Jane and Patricia.
